Founded in 2015 as part of the Community Chiropractic Center in Tecumseh, Ontario, Spencer Jean & Associates was established by Spencer Jean to integrate advanced osteopathic care into an existing multidisciplinary clinic. In 2022, we expanded into a modern, purpose-built facility within the Tecumseh Medical Plaza to meet the needs of a growing and diverse patient base.

We take an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach to care. Rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis, we assess the whole individual—their biomechanics, lifestyle, goals, and underlying contributors to pain or dysfunction. Using a systematic, algorithmic model of care, we personalize each treatment plan to the individual, not just the condition.

Our collaborative team includes professionals from multiple healthcare disciplines, working together to support optimal recovery, pain resolution, and long-term performance. When appropriate, we co-manage cases to ensure each patient benefits from the combined strengths of our clinical team.

We serve a broad spectrum of patients—from newborns to seniors, recreational athletes to Olympians—seeking care for acute injuries, chronic pain, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, pediatric conditions, and performance optimization. Our reputation for excellence has attracted patients locally and internationally, all seeking to improve their quality of life through proactive, integrative care.

ABOUT SPENCER

Spencer’s journey began with undergraduate studies in Health Sciences supported by dual academic and hockey scholarships at Adrian College and Florida Gulf Coast University. Following his undergraduate studies, he signed a professional contract with the Florida Everblades (ECHL). Although injuries curtailed his hockey career, they sparked his passion for osteopathy.

He completed over 5,890 hours of rigorous training, earning his Doctor of Osteopathy at NUMSS (Spain) and California University FCE (USA) and Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the National Academy of Osteopathy. During his final year, Spencer interned at Boston University’s Sports Legacy Institute and earned certification as a Brain Injury Specialist through the American Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists.  Committed to continual growth, Spencer earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration and actively pursues continuing education through various institutions.

Spencer’s Manual Osteopathy practice addresses a broad spectrum of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. He applies his unique perspective as both a patient and practitioner to deliver personalized care, focusing on sports/overuse injury rehabilitation, chronic condition management, and preventive health. Although, his patient demographics includes several NHL teams as a contracted practitioner, alongside many professional and Olympic athletes; he sees patients of all ages, backgrounds and physical abilities.

Outside the clinic, Spencer enjoys family life with his wife, Jordyn, and their sons, Theodore and Oliver. He is passionate about hockey, golf, animal welfare, and actively contributes to the community through various volunteer and charitable initiatives.
